Studio Diary – 4/27/08
Finished writing music & words for Hollow, In Vain. Majority of the music tracks are completed. Vocals, guitar and mixing will be completed on our week long recording venture the end of May. The Izotope “Trash” plugin made some wicked distortion effects! This will be a fun song to perform live. Fans of “damaged” will like this one.
About half of the tracks for “the state that we’re in” are done. Very EBM, club friendy song aching for remixing. Will post the tracks for this one on www.mend-remix.com when it’s done.
2 new ideas have become the genesis of 2 new songs, working titles are currently “in this paradigm” and “I’m nothing, if not“. Noodling in Reason spawned a few ideas that don’t necessarily blend well, so they’ve becme 2 seperate song “seeds”.
